*Protect yourself at all times. Keep your chin on your chest, so your right shoulder is protecting your jaw through the punch. Your left hand should be up protecting the left side of your head. Never, ever, ever drop your hands.
6. Make a fist. You should begin tightening your fist just as your hips begin to rotate. Your knuckles should form a 90 degree angle with the back of your hand. The back of your hand should form a straight line with your forearm. Your punch should land with your first two knuckles only. The fist rotates through the punch, torqueing into the target. This is the wrecking ball part of the crane.
