Grant Jackson (Baseball Card) 1978 Topps #661

Too low to display

The Phillies traded starting pitcher Grant Jackson, OF/1B Jim Hutto and Sam Parrilla to the Orioles for OF/1B Roger Freed. The outcome of the trade clearly favored Baltimore. Grant Jackson was moved into the bullpen and put up some sterling numbers thereafter, including an 8-0 record with 9 saves, a 1.90 ERA in 1973 and posted a win in that year's AL Championship Series over Oakland.

Grant Jackson also appeared in three World Series with 3 different teams, becoming just the 4th player ever to do so - joining Eddie Stanky, Andy Pafko and Vic Davalillo.
